His book The Technology of Killing: A Military and Political History of Anti-personnel Weapons was published by Zed Books in London and New Jersey in June 1995. He attended the 19 ICRC Conferences of Government Experts on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons as an observer for the Friends World Committee for Consultation (Quakers). He has written extensively on anti-personnel weapons and was a contributor to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute report Anti-personnel Weapons. Bringing the dumdum ban (1899) up to dateĮric Prokosch received a doctorate in anthropology from Stanford University in 1969.
